Iran, Aug. 30, 2017 - Hundreds of Sanandaj residents, west of Iran, rallied on Tuesday, August 29th to protest and show their anger at the actions of municipal agents in their city after they flamed a half constructed building while an employee was still working in it. The gathering and protest took place in front of the governor's office in Sanandaj.
Mosleh Hosseini, 23, was a construction worker and was working inside the building when agents of the municipality arrived and flamed the building to stop the completion of the construction of the building. Mosleh was transferred to the hospital but died later of his wounds.
The protesters carried his coffin in the streets calling for the trial and prosecution of perpetrators of this barbaric act. They also said that they would continue their demonstration on Wednesday, August 30 in front of the City Hall.
Mosleh's burial ceremony took place on Tuesday morning with a large number of people attending that.
Another worker was also injured during the burning of the building and is still in hospital.
