Iran activates Tehran-Mediterranean corridor 12/18/2017 5:20:16 PM Iran has begun to use Tehran-Damascus highway for military purposes Orient Net, DEC. 18, 2017 --  After Assad regime and Iranian-backed Hashd al-Shaabi fighters gained control of the regions once occupied by the terror group Daesh near the Syria-Iraq borderline, military activity began at that line, local sources told Anadolu Agency on Sunday. This was the first time Iran dispatched military delivery through this route, by which Iran reached the Mediterranean. The terror group Daesh abandoned its last settlement in Syria, al-Buqamal, in November. Then, regime forces and pro-regime foreign terror groups gained control of majority of the area next to Syria-Iraq border. Seeing that the Iraq-Syria line was seized by the regime and Iran-backed groups, Iran effectively realized the Tehran-Damascus line of the corridor through which it aims to reach the Mediterranean. Riyadh "Riyadh Daily"   Paris conference addresses "explosive conditions in Iran, Mullahs' regime in crises" “Just as it was necessary to confront Daesh, it is far more imperative now to fight a hundred-times greater danger: the religious dictatorship in Iran, the IRGC and its mercenary militias.” This was reiterated by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in a speech to a conference in Paris focusing on “Explosive Conditions in Iran, Mullahs’ Regime in Crises”, on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Mrs. Rajavi pointed out, “The international community has finally acknowledged the dangers and threats posed by the IRGC albeit long overdue. These statements are a positive step forward but not sufficient to confront the increasing damages caused by this destructive force and the heavy price the nations in the region have paid because of western governments’ appeasement of the regime over so many years.” ...

Ten reasons why the Iranian regime is more dangerous than Daesh

Ten reasons why the Iranian regime is more dangerous than Daesh Google+ Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi -KHAMENEI Dr. Majid Rafizadeh Arab News, 16 November 2017  - Western powers place Daesh at the top of their counterterrorism and foreign policy agenda, characterizing the terrorist group as the No. 1 national security threat. Before Daesh, it was Al-Qaeda. This strategic and security prioritization is misplaced. For the following reasons, the Iranian regime is far more of a security threat to the world than non-state terrorist groups such as Daesh. First, the Iranian regime’s leaders and military generals enjoy the legitimacy of the nation-state system endorsed by the UN, even though the regime is neither a democracy nor representative of the Iranian nation. As a result, the interventions, military adventurism and crimes against humanity committed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Quds Force and their militias draw less attention because the...

Tillerson Calls on Europe to Back Latest Sanctions on Iran Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called on European governments to join a U.S.-led sanctions regime against Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, saying that countries doing business with the Islamic Republic’s force do so at their own risk. The Revolutionary Guards “foment instability in the region and create destruction in the region,” Tillerson told reporters in Riyadh on Sunday after talks with King Salman of Saudi Arabia and other top officials. European countries and companies that do business with the IRGC “really do so at great risk,” he said. Tillerson is in Saudi Arabia looking to counter Iranian influence in the region, including by bolstering an alliance between Saudi Arabia and Iraq. In the same vein, he is trying to make sure that the void left after U.S.-backed forces ousted Islamic State fighters in in Iraq is filled by U.S. allies, not adversaries such as Iran. He called on Iranian-backed mili...

A Brief Timeline of Iran-Sponsored Terrorism Since 1979 WASHINGTON, D.C. – From its warmongering in Iraq, Syria, and to a degree in Yemen, to its meddling in Lebanon, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian territories, and Turkey, the Iranian regime and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), through its terrorist proxy in Lebanon, Hezbollah, have caused chaos in the Middle East region since it came to power in 1979. The U.S. Department of State has  asserted   that “Iran has … assisted in rearming Lebanese Hizballah, in direct violation of UNSCR 1701.” The State Department noted in 2014 that General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the IRGC Aerospace Force, stated that “the IRGC and Hezbollah are a single apparatus jointed together.” The following is a list of Iran-sponsored terrorist activities that have taken place since Iran’s late Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was overthrown and replaced with radical Islamic hardliner Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
