People Of Ahvaz Demonstrate Over Sabotaging Karoon Water In Iran On Friday, December 22, 2017, a group of people in Ahvaz gathered in protest to the transferring of Karoon water project in Iran. People held up banners and chanted their  demands  to prevent the project from taking place. Iranian officials have planned a water-channeling project based on distributing more water from Karun’s main tributaries to other provinces of Iran. Iranian teachers demanded not only their own legitimate rights but also the release of imprisoned teachers and political prisoners.
