Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei (Photo by Supreme Leader Press Office / Handout/Anadolu Agency/Getty Images) We Should Listen Closely To Iran As the world continues to debate the recent Iranian outburst of protests, its "lack of leadership" as they claim, and the road ahead, there is no doubt in the minds of senior Iranian regime officials over who led, and continues to lead, this latest uprising that continues to rattle the very pillars of the mullahs' rule. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei made his thoughts crystal clear. “The incidents were organized” and carried out by the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), he said although using a different term. “The [MEK] had prepared for this months ago” and “the [MEK’s] media outlets had called for it.” The MEK is best known for first blowing the whistle on Iran's clandestine nuclear program back in 2002 and raising awareness over the possible...

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN AND NCRI  By INU Staff INU - After many years of the US attempting to appease the Iranian regime, American commitment to economic sanctions has been effectively reestablished, and even expanded, with President Trump’s announcement on October 13 that his administration would be targeting the entirety of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps for its support of global terrorism and its crimes against the Iranian people. Trump has said that the Iranian people are the “longest suffering victims” of the Iranian regime. He and his foreign policy advisors have clarified that the emerging Iran strategy recognizes the difference between the government of the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran.  Many believe that the Trump administration sees a need for regime change and is willing to pursue this goal. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing that US policy in the Middle East should includ...

Growing Anxieties of Tehran Appeasers and Apologists Targeting MEK Is Understandable 11/2/2017 7:30:27 PM   facebook Google+ ► Print The Iranian regime has never hidden its worry and concern about the role and impact of the MEK. By Sia Rajabi IRAN FOCUS, 02 November 2017  -- The shift in US policy on Iran has been unmistakable. After years of conciliation and appeasement – not just under the Obama administration but at various points throughout the 38-year history of the Islamic Republic – President Donald Trump is spearheading a committed strategy of confrontation and assertiveness, which serves to expose the depths of the Iranian regime’s violence and contempt for human rights. The pace of this change has been rather dramatic. It was just about a year and a half ago that Tehran received windfalls of unfrozen assets and other benefits from nuclear negotiations, including the payment of more than one billion dollars in cash as a de fact...
