We can see this in their constant attempts to slander dissidents through any means necessary in order to keep the Iranian Regime in power. But the reason why may surprise those who only hear about Iran through cable news. Simply, the Iranian Resistance is unique among forces that seek to remove dictatorships from power. It not only advocates for regime change, but also represent the viable alternative to the mullahs. Most revolutions fail because there is no stable government in place to take over, leading to chaos.
