The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that while options have not yet been presented to President Trump, they are expected to include prohibiting the sales, imposing restrictions that could stop any aircraft deliveries or slowing down the approval process. Boeing and Airbus have agreed to sell nearly 300 planes to Iranian Airlines. Those sales were allowed under the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, pending approval from the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control. The nuclear deal bars Iran from developing nuclear weapons in exchange for sanctions relief. Trump disavowed the nuclear deal in O...

How Iran Is Losing Europe

Image
How Iran Is Losing Europe As the United States adopts new strategy vis-à-vis Iran, senior officials in Tehran are desperately seeking a new life-rope. With Obama and his appeasement gone, Iran is also sensing how Europe is distancing. Tehran is also witnessing how developments across the Middle East and the international spectrum are cornering its regime, detecting how all parties will choose to side with its rivals. British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson made a call to Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman condemning the Iran-backed Houthis’ missile launch against Riyadh. In her recent trip to Washington, European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini  expressed  confidence the Iran nuclear deal,  decertified by U.S. President Donald Trump, would not be killed. Sources in Congress, however, are saying senior Republicans emphasized the deal’s deficiencies and stressed how financial and economic relations established with Iran are endangered,...

This fake report is astonishingly linked to reports in Iran covering President Trump’s speech, which has been described as encouraging people inside the country to fuel their protests.   Somaye Mohammadi This woman, who has been the subject of an ongoing psychological war launched by Tehran, is Somaye Mohammadi. Along with other members of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK), she has been relocated to Tirana, ...

THE PEOPLE OF IRAN MUST NOT BE FORGOTTEN AS THE REGIME'S FIRST VICTIMS

Image
THE PEOPLE OF IRAN MUST NOT BE FORGOTTEN AS THE REGIME'S FIRST VICTIMS by Jazeh Miller The nuclear threat and Iran’s belligerence has been the topic of many hot debates in recent weeks and months. Leaders from all across the world are slamming the Iranian regime for its spread of chaos across the Middle East including its support of various militias and proxy groups. It is also being criticised for its nuclear program and its violation of the spirit of the nuclear deal. However, very little attention is being paid to the Iranian regime’s blatant abuse of human rights at home. The people of Iran have suffered under the clerical regime for many years. What is even more incomprehensible is the Iranian regime’s disregard of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that is in place to respect the dignity of everyone and to ensure that all people are treated equally. Iran is one of the worst offenders of executions and many people are sentenced to death every year. The Iranian ...

It now has an arsenal of more than 100,000 rockets aimed at Israel and has become battle-hardened while propping up the murderous Assad regime alongside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. Hezbollah has taken hundreds of thousands of lives, including American lives. With the House’s action today, we send a strong message that the United States will not allow this threat to go unchecked. These critical measures will impose new sanctions to crack...

He has killed more people than Hamas, ISIS or al-Nusra,” Faisal said Sunday at the Middle East Policy Forum in New York, coordinated by the Israel Policy Forum, a think tank aimed at supporting and mobilizing the American Jewish community. “Therefore, the effort needs to be to convince Russia not to necessarily abandon, but to keep an arm’s distance f...

Maryam Rajavi, who leads the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) which serves as a government-in-exile, expressed her gratitude that the Italian government had underscored the need to confront the Iranian Regime. She said: “You have pinpointed an issue on which the world’s peace and security, the Middle East’s liberation from war, terrorism and instability, and the Iranian people’s freedom, all depend.” Decades of the international community turning a blind eye to the oppression of the Iranian people has led to the Regime spreading its fundamentalism far beyond its own borders and posing a threat to the world at large; contributing to the rise of Sunni terrorist cells like ISIS and ...
