Washington Lobbyist Harasses John Bolton for Past Iranian MEK Support

Washington Lobbyist Harasses John Bolton for Past Iranian MEK Support Iran Focus London, 26 Jun - With regards to Iran and particularly the recent developments after the last December and January uprising in the country, and President Trump’s Iran-nuclear-deal exit, the US National Security Advisor John Bolton has certainly been an outspoken and steadfast personality supporting the current US-Iran foreign policy agenda. For many years Iranian dissident supporters of the  MEK (Mujahedeen-e Khalq of Iran)  in Europe and United States have come to respect and count on Mr. Bolton for his support for freedom of Iran and the notion of a regime change in that country. Beside Mr. Bolton, there are many prominent and respected US political personalities from both parties that anxiously support a policy of regime change in Iran for the United States. With current state-of-affairs in Iran right now, that dream may not be too far from being fulfilled ending a 40 year long...

IRAN LOBBY IN US LOSES IT OVER BOLTON APPOINTMENT 3/29/2018 8:27:13 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print The Iran Lobby in the US losing their minds over Trump’s appointment of John Bolton as the new national security advisor By INU Staff INU, 28  March 20  18-   The Iran Lobby in the US has been losing their minds over Donald Trump’s appointment of former UN ambassador John Bolton as the new national security advisor because of Bolton’s ardent and frequent criticism of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the Iranian Regime in general. Following the announcement, president of the National Iranian American Council Trita Parsi issued a statement lambasting the decision and accusing Bolton of trying to start World War III with Iran. He wrote: “Bolton is an unhinged advocate for waging World War III. He has explicitly called for bombing Iran for the past ten years… Bolton’s first order of business will be to convince Trump to exit the...

The MEK's Religious Beliefs

Image
The MEK's Religious Beliefs Jubin Katiraie   Blog 18 February 2018 The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) is a political group dedicated to bringing freedom and democracy to Iran. They derive their political beliefs from a modern and tolerant version of Islam that is fully compatible with modern society – the exact opposite of the ruling mullahs’ Sharia Law, which is intolerant, extremist, genocidal, non-democratic, and misogynist – and the MEK believe that their interpretation is the true meaning of Islam. In 1982, MEK leader Massoud Rajavi, said: “The Islam we want is nationalistic, democratic, progressive, and not opposed to science or civilization. We believe there is no contradiction between modern science and true Islam, and we believe that in Islam there must be no compulsion or dictatorship.” This combination of tolerant religion and politics means that the MEK enjoys broad public support amongst the Iranian people and people all over the wo...

The MEK and Its Popularity in Iran

The MEK and Its Popularity in Iran Iran Focus London, 25 Jan - One persistent myth about the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) is that it is unpopular amongst the Iranian people, but nothing could be further from the truth. The MEK is the oldest, biggest, and most popular resistance movement in Iran, but it should also go without saying that it far outstrips the Regime’s popularity among the Iranian people. It is impossible to get precise numbers on support for the MEK within Iran, as Supreme Leader Ruhollah Khomeini declared them to be enemies of the Regime in 1980 and criminalised the pro-democracy movement soon after, but their signs can be seen during every election and at every protest. One of the best ways to measure support for the MEK may actually be through their television channel Face of Freedom ( Simaye Azadi in Persian), which bypasses strict Regime censorship to bring unbiased news to Iran as well as programs on Iranian history, literature, culture, a...

Opportunity knocks, but will we open the door?

Opportunity knocks, but will we open the door? It happened before. The Iranian people rose up in 2009 and had the United States and other western powers supported their efforts, perhaps the Iranian people might have overthrown the tyrannical government of the mullahs. But the Obama administration did nothing. And so the Iranian government, after killing and jailing protestors, many of whom remain in prison, lapsed back into its old ways of ruling with an iron grip. Things have changed since then. The current American president has voiced his support of the Iranian protestors and their plight. But the change remains one-sided. Democrats, with the surprising exception of Bernie Sanders, have not stepped up to the plate. In fact, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice recently admonished President Trump for tweeting his support for the downtrodden people of Iran. Rice suggested that the best thing the president could do was to remain silent. That’s the same Susan Rice who w...

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN AND NCRI

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN AND NCRI  By INU Staff INU - After many years of the US attempting to appease the Iranian regime, American commitment to economic sanctions has been effectively reestablished, and even expanded, with President Trump’s announcement on October 13 that his administration would be targeting the entirety of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps for its support of global terrorism and its crimes against the Iranian people. Trump has said that the Iranian people are the “longest suffering victims” of the Iranian regime. He and his foreign policy advisors have clarified that the emerging Iran strategy recognizes the difference between the government of the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran.  Many believe that the Trump administration sees a need for regime change and is willing to pursue this goal. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing that US policy in the Middle East should includ...
