The  previously unseen document , released with 470,000 files recovered in the raid on  Osama Bin Laden’s Abbottabad compound  in May 2011, gives an assessment of al-Qaeda’s relationship with Iran, according to a senior jihadist in the group. Women's News Iran: Women win medals, despite lack of government support Iran’s hard working women show their talent and competence in every opportunity despite numerous obstacles created by the ruling regime to exclude them from the  sport s arena and lack of any form of government support. Rock climber Elnaz Rekabi won the gold medal of women’s Asian Bold Ring Cup where she defeated Singapore, Kazakhstan, and China. (The state-run  ISCAnews.ir  – October 29, 2017) In a previous interview, she had complained about the difficulties of training while being alone in her field. Elnaz Rekabi also spoke on the problems created by the requirement of wearing the compulsory veil. “It is very hard with the veil especially when the weather is hot. I tried to find some proper outfit for this sport to observe the dress code, as well, but I had to do it on my own.” (Interview with Euronews –  Aparat.com – April 25, 2016) In another event, Iranian women rank...

By: Shahriar Kia (Political analyst)   Iran’s people are the world’s greatest allies against Tehran’s evil ambitions In his  recent speech  at the UN General Assembly, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his resolve to counter the Iranian regime’s destabilizing activities, nuclear ambitions and its many affronts to international agreements and norms. But the remark that perhaps made the most impact, and was ostensibly ignored by Iranian officials and media, was one regarding the distinction between the ruling regime and the people, which he called, “The longest-suffering victims of Iran's leaders.” “The entire world understands that the good people of Iran want to change, and, other than the vast military power of the United States, that Iran's people are what their leaders fear most,” Trump said during his speech. He also added, “This is what causes the regime to restrict Internet access, tear down satellite dishes, shoot unarmed student protestors, a...

U.S. administration takes new aim at Hezbollah, part of tougher Iran stance The US officials said “We want to counter Iran’s malign activities,” POLITICO- Oct. 6, 2017-  The Trump administration on Friday plans to roll out a new public campaign aimed at cracking down more forcefully on the armed wing of Hezbollah in Lebanon, part of a broader effort to counter the militant Shiite group’s chief backer, Iran. The new push will include instituting cash rewards for its “most wanted” operatives, stepping up U.S. intelligence and law enforcement efforts, and also aims to enlist allies to do more to undermine the group’s global network, three administration officials told reporters Thursday. The so-called Party of God, Hezbollah is also a powerful political bloc in the Lebanese government. It is an avowed enemy of Israel and has been responsible for a series of attacks against U.S. and other Western interests for decades. The State Department designated it a terro...

A 1988 massacre and the truth about ‘moderate’ Rouhani 1988 Massacre of Iranian political prisoners   Dr. Majid Rafizadeh Arab News, 27 September 2017  - Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani is making a tactical shift once again. This time he is appealing the hard-liners publicly and revealing the actual agenda of his administration after achieving the Supreme Leader’s economic objectives. Rouhani used the UN pedestal last week to shower praise on Tehran’s theocracy. His stale slogans smack of desperation and deception. Isolated and generally regarded as a pariah, the regime and its familiar figures try to stick to the same plot and project an image of a powerful and rational player. Brush aside the forced rhetoric and the ugly truth reveals itself: A regime that has hanged over 3,100 people under Rouhani alone, securing the world record for the highest number of executions. Dozens of young people are among the victims, securing another record; the wor...

Lindsey Graham Calls on Trump to Renegotiate Iran Deal, Rather Than Scrap It 9/27/2017 11:14:21 AM Sen. Lindsey Graham THE WASHINGTON FREE BACEAN, September 26, 2017 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham on Monday said the Trump administration should revisit the Iran nuclear agreement to toughen its provisions rather than abandon it as Trump pledged on the 2016 presidential campaign trail. The South Carolina senator said Iran is 'probably' in technical compliance with the accord, but claimed it is violating the spirit of the pact through its continued destabilizing activities in the Middle East, such as supporting terrorist groups. He said a renegotiated deal must be contingent on changing the regime's behavior. 'I think the biggest mistake in the deal, quite honestly, was disconnecting the behavior of the regime and sanctions relief,' Graham said at a conference hosted by the Institute for the Study of War.        Iran’s continued missile testin...

September 19, 2017 Map of Iran - Middle East By Heshmat Alavi Al Arabiya, 18 September 2017  - There is a new understanding in Washington over how US President Donald Trump, set to deliver his first United Nations General Assembly speech tomorrow, can tackle the Iran challenge. It would be wrong to view the conglomerate of Iran-created crises through a single periscope focusing exclusively on the nuclear dilemma. Iran’s meddling in states across the Middle East, its support for terrorists groups including the likes of the Lebanese Hezbollah, the continuous pursuit of ballistic missiles and domestic  human rights violations  are also serious concerns. The question is how to adopt a proper Iran policy approach to address all questions with equal importance. The plan has been described as a “21st century financial version of [John F.] Kennedy’s Cuba quarantine,” according to a copy leaked to the media. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, known to early ...
