He's Right About Iran 10/10/2017 8:27:50 PM U.S. President Donald Trump says hes made decision on Iran deal The Weekly Standard, October 10, 2017  - Presidential candidate Donald Trump disparaged the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Iran in characteristically superlative terms: “My number-one priority,” he said to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in  March 20  16, “is to dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran. I have been in business a long time. I know deal-making, and let me tell you, this deal is catastrophic—for America, for Israel, and for the whole Middle East. . . . We have rewarded the world’s leading state sponsor of terror with $150 billion, and we received absolutely nothing in return.” We didn’t disagree with Trump’s reasoning then, and we don’t now. This magazine has been sharply critical of much the president has done, but on two vital questions—Iran and North Korea—we believe his instincts are sound. The Joi...

By: Shahriar Kia (Political analyst)   Iran’s people are the world’s greatest allies against Tehran’s evil ambitions In his  recent speech  at the UN General Assembly, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his resolve to counter the Iranian regime’s destabilizing activities, nuclear ambitions and its many affronts to international agreements and norms. But the remark that perhaps made the most impact, and was ostensibly ignored by Iranian officials and media, was one regarding the distinction between the ruling regime and the people, which he called, “The longest-suffering victims of Iran's leaders.” “The entire world understands that the good people of Iran want to change, and, other than the vast military power of the United States, that Iran's people are what their leaders fear most,” Trump said during his speech. He also added, “This is what causes the regime to restrict Internet access, tear down satellite dishes, shoot unarmed student protestors, a...

REUTERS BERLIN (Reuters) -Oct. 9, 2017 -   Germany is worried that U.S. President Donald Trump will say the international deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program is not being adhered to and that this will turn North Korea off any accord to halt its nuclear weapons program, the foreign minister said. Sigmar Gabriel told reporters in Berlin on Monday that Germany was ready to increase pressure on Iran, with diplomatic means, but that “we do not want to see this agreement damaged.” He added: “Our big concern is with, regard to North Korea, that it is very unlikely the North Korean dictatorship is ready to agree to an international agreement to renounce the building of nuclear weapons if the only agreement in the world that has allowed such ...

Time running out for Iran's nuclear deal 9/30/2017 9:23:30 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print Workers talking at Bushehr nuclear site in Iran By Struan Stevenson UPI, September 29, 2017  -   With only days left before U.S. President Donald Trump must decide if he will grant the Iranian regime compliance with the nuclear deal on Oct. 15, the sands of time are rapidly running out for Tehran's rulers. Trump told a meeting of the  United Nations  in September that the deal was 'an embarrassment' to the United States. If Trump refuses to certify Iran's compliance with the deal, which seems highly likely, Congress will have 60 days to decide whether to reapply the crippling sanctions lifted by former President Barack Obama after the deal was signed. There is increasing speculation that the Iranian regime is financing North Korea's nuclear program, despite worldwide condemnation and the imposition of heavy sanctions against Kim...
