VIDEO: Horrific pictures show ‘entire families gassed to death’ in Syria’s Douma 4/8/2018 8:28:38 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print Medical relief organization Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) said a chlorine bomb hit Douma hospital Reuters, Beirut, 8 April 2018 -- A Syrian rebel group accused government forces on Saturday of dropping a barrel bomb containing poisonous chemicals on civilians in eastern Ghouta, and a medical relief organization said 35 people had been killed in chemical attacks on the area. Syrian state media denied government forces had launched any chemical attack as soon as the reports began circulating and said rebels in the eastern Ghouta town of Douma were in a state of collapse and spreading false news. The US State Department said on Saturday reports of mass casualties from an alleged chemical weapons attack in Douma were “horrifying” and would, if confirmed, “demand an immediate response by the i...

Trump: US will not tolerate the atrocities of the Assad regime 3/3/2018 8:30:57 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print A wounded Syrian child is treated at a makeshift hospital in the rebel-held town of Douma, in the besieged Eastern Ghouta The National, March 3, 2018  - With the reported death toll in Eastern Ghouta exceeding 670 since the air bombardment started on February 13, the US administration upped the ante on Friday, threatening the Assad regime that it “will not tolerate the atrocities” and calling on Russia to immediately uphold a ceasefire all over Syria. The White House, following Donald Trump calls to Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, issued a statement on Friday that stresses the urgency of the situation in Syria. The leaders agreed that “the Syrian regime, and its Russian and Iranian supporters, should immediately and fully implement  United Nations  Security Council Resolution 2401” c...

Crime Against Humanity in Eastern Ghouta by the Mullahs’ Regime 2/26/2018 9:19:02 PM   facebook Google+ ► Print Call for urgent international action to expel IRGC from Syria The mullahs' anti-human regime is continuing its criminal attacks and killings against the people in Eastern Ghouta of Syria in violation of the UN Security Council resolution 2401, which was ratified unanimously on February 24. These attacks are a clear example of crime against humanity and war crime. Following the ratification of the Security Council resolution that sets a 30-day ceasefire, Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the mullahs’ regime, announced impudently on February 25 that the resolution does not include the Eastern Ghouta. Once again, it was proved that the mullahs’ regime does not respect any international rule and law, and that the war in Syria is so vital for this medieval regime. In the February 25 attacks, carried out the da...

Don't Honor Abusers of Human Rights

Don't Honor Abusers of Human Rights With the attack last week that killed 17 people at a school in Parkland, Florida, it is easy to miss the humanitarian crisis that occurred across the globe in Syria. On Tuesday, hundreds of civilians, including children, died when Syria's government and its allies executed a direct strike on a rebel stronghold in eastern Ghouta -- where Syrian forces used sarin in 2013, killing an estimated 1,500 people. The bloody faces of small children are all too familiar in this vicious war by Bashar Assad and his Iranian and Russian allies, who are intent on keeping him in power. More than 5 million people have fled the regime. Another 6 million have been displaced within Syria. And hundreds of thousands of people have died in the civil war. Though this carnage has drawn condemnation from the U.S., Europe and elsewhere, as long as Assad's partners in crimes against humanity, Russia and Iran, continue to supply arms and fighters to th...

Syria regime pounds rebel enclave, sends fighters to face Turkey 2/21/2018 7:31:43 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print A Syrian carries an infant wounded in government bombardment of the rebel-held Eastern Ghouta town of Hammuriyeh on February 19, 2018 AFP, Feb. 20, 2018  - Regime air strikes Tuesday pushed the death toll from three days of bombing in Syria's rebel Eastern Ghouta to over 200 as Damascus pitched pro-government forces into the fray against Turkey in a Kurdish-held border region. The pro-regime fighters came under bombardment from Turkey after entering the northern Afrin region, escalating a month-long offensive by Ankara in another major twist for Syria's complex near-seven-year war. To the south on the outskirts of Damascus, air strikes and rocket and artillery fire have battered the Eastern Ghouta enclave since Sunday in apparent preparation for a government ground assault on the besieged region. More than 200 civilians have be...

In Syria region under regime siege, children die of hunger 10/23/2017 9:46:07 AM   facebook Google+ ► Print A nurse holds a Syrian child suffering from severe malnutrition at a clinic in the rebel-controlled town of Hamouria, in the eastern Ghouta region near the capital Damascus, on October 21, 2017 Hamouria, Syria, AFP, 22 October 2017  -  One-month-old Sahar, her ribs protruding under the translucent skin, breathed her last on Sunday in Syria's Eastern Ghouta, where a crushing regime siege has pushed hundreds of children to the brink of starvation. Only a trickle of humanitarian aid ever reaches this rebel-held region east of Damascus, under a tight blockade by Assad regime forces since 2013. Eastern Ghouta is one of four 'de-escalation zones' set up in May under a deal between backers of rival sides in Syria's devastating six-year war.     Kids are suffering from malnutrition in East Ghouta. But food supplies...
