About 20 demonstrators, mostly high school and university students, were arrested. 2.  The workers of the agricultural section of Haft Tapeh sugar cane factory went on strike at the factory site in protest of non-payment of their salaries for three months. They prevented the entry to and exit from the factory by closing the Northern yard doors of the factory.
