Video: Iranian Security Forces Torture Ahwazi Prisoners BY  CLARION PROJECT   Tuesday, October 3, 2017   Human rights activists in Iran published a  video  on social media showing how Iranian security forces torture Ahwazi Arab prisoners, beating them and forcing them to bark and howl like dogs. The video shows a member of the Iranian security forces, who was reportedly versed in martial arts, punching the prisoners in their  kidneys and cursing them. The activists say the treatment violates international law and demanded those responsible be punished. Ahwazi Arabs are a frequently persecuted minority group in Iran. Random rounding up of Ahwazis by Iranian authorities often takes place during Iranian holidays when Ahwazi Arabs are known to gather together to demand their rights as equal citizens.
