Iran: Truck drivers’ strike marks second week, stretched to more than 310 cities Iran, October 6, 2018 -  Saturday signals the 14 th  consecutive day of a nationwide strike launched by thousands of truck drivers across more than  310 cities  throughout Iran. All of the country’s 31 provinces are witnessing truckers courageously continue their strike, protesting low paychecks, skyrocketing prices for spare parts and tires, and authorities refusing to respond to the truckers’ righteous demands. This  strike , despite all the obstacles, has been able to continue in the face of numerous threats and plots launched by Iranian regime authorities.
