Iran, March 12, 2018 - Tehran’s municipality declared that the distribution of gas in fuel trucks and the sale of gasoline in plastic containers have been banned during the National Fire Festival holidays. The municipality also added that its agents will collect garbage bins from across the city for that day.
An official in the 6th district of the municipality stressed that Tehran’s gas stations must refuse to sell fuel to those who want to carry the gas in containers, adding: “we will collect every inflammable material in the city ranging from tree branches, worn-out vehicle tires, to any single material that can be set alight.”
