Seyed-Emami family
Iran, Thursday, March 15, 2018, children of Mr. Kavoos Seyed Emami, university professor who was killed in the notorious Evin prison in Iran, demanded the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Justin Trudeau to conduct a research regarding the reasons for their father's arrest and death.
Kavoos Seyed Emami was arrested on January 24, 2018, along with several other environmental activists, and was killed in the notorious Evin prison on January 29, 2018. Khamenei's judiciary authorities alleged that the professor's death was a suicide.
But his sons, Ramin and Mehran Seyed Emami, who live in Canada, told the Associated Press that despite of this announcement by the Iranian regime, they feel that the prison officials are directly responsible for their father's death.
Airport officials prevented Mrs. Maryam Mombeini, Kavoos Seyed Emami's wife from leaving Iran for Canada, along with her sons on March 7, 2018.
